Recovery Can BE intimidating. We are here for you

Once you begin to realize you've become addicted to alcohol or drugs, it can be quite frightening and overwhelming. One of the biggest obstacles to overcome is denial. You can always think of someone who is further along with alcoholism or addiction. The thought of having to check into an inpatient program or make the decision to commit to nine or more hours per week of intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) may actually be impossible due to a variety of circumstances. For instance, did you know...

  • In most cases, your insurance deductible exceeds the cost of our program.
  • The average price of Inpatient treatment is $15,491 to $27,399.
  • The average price of Intensive Outpatient Treatment is $3,000 to $10,000, depending on the length of treatment.

"Most people simply can't afford to get the treatment they need. That’s why I developed I know, because I’ve been through this myself," says Douglas W. Cook, M.D., A.B.A.M.

I would like to take this time to say thank you for the “free” begin recovery program offered through Rays of Sunshine. I got much from this program and learned a lot of the things I did not know. The program has been a great blessing to me as well as many others. I couldn’t have afforded it otherwise.

Who Needs Help?

  • Do you ever feel ashamed or guilty about your drug use?
  • Have you ever experienced withdrawal symptoms (felt sick) when you stopped taking drugs?
  • Are you currently smoking or injecting any non-prescribed drugs or substances?
  • Do you experience job problems or legal problems or have you ever obtained drugs illegally?
  • Do you need a drink when you are disappointed, under pressure, or have a quarrel?
  • Do you ever feel ashamed or guilty because of your drinking?
  • Has this person begun neglecting basic responsibilities at home, work, or school due to alcohol or drugs?
  • Has this person developed mood swings, become increasingly irritable, jumpy, or displaying angry outbursts?
  • Has this person experienced issues with law enforcement due to alcohol or drugs?
  • Has this person experienced sudden weight loss or gain, change in appearance, lack of motivation, and physical appearance deteriorating?
  • Some alcoholics drink almost daily, others binge drink (for example on weekends). Have you noticed either one of these patterns?
  • Does this person downplay the negative issues arising from their drinking or drugging?
  • Would you find useful an online sobriety coaching and education program that monitored each of your addiction/alcoholic clients on a daily basis, and provided you with real time analysis of their participation, comprehension and progress?
  • Do you find it difficult to provide BOTH in-depth education about addiction AND focus on therapeutic goals in the limited time you have to spend with clients?
  • Would you like a program that your client can work at home (at their own pace) allowing your focus to remain on the professional goals you need to address in the limited time you have for counseling or patient contact?
  • Would you like an Internet based program that ensures that your client receives 14 hours of core educational components to help them successfully overcome addiction or alcoholism?
  • Has this employee been late or been missing work more frequently?
  • Has the employee’s personal appearance changed?
  • Has the employee’s work output changed for the negative and has his/her communication with fellow employees become a negative drain on relationships?
  • Is the employee experiencing work related judgment or execution problems?
  • Has the employee begun to experience mood or behavioral changes?

If you or someone you care about answered yes to any of these questions, there is a strong possibility you or that individual are about to spend a lifetime with addiction. Don’t suffer or let the one you care about suffer in silence.
